Why this number is different
Other calculators score your followers. We count your code.
Each repo is counted with pre.dev's open pricing script, the one that prices code for Pangea. Its git history is estimated from the commit count. Then both get Pangea's published rates.
Rates from Pangea's code licensing page, checked October 20, 2026. How it's counted.
Example · invoice-parser
1.21M tokens of code × $100/1M$121
12M tokens of history × $40/1M$480
invoice-parser$601
History is the big part. Old repos with lots of commits add up fast.
Got private repos?
Those are the ones AI labs license. If you own code that was never public, see what Pangea would list it at. The count runs in your browser.
Questions
How much is my GitHub worth?
Look up your username to find out. We count the code in your public, original repos, estimate their git history, and price both at the rates Pangea publishes: $100 per million tokens of code and $40 per million tokens of history. Every repo gets its own figure and a range. How it's counted.
Why is there a range?
Counting git history exactly takes a full clone, so we estimate it from the commit count. We tested that estimate on 477 public repos we counted in full. The range shows where 8 in 10 of them landed.
Can I sell my code?
Public code, sadly not: anyone can already clone it. Private repos you own that were never public can sell. Pangea licenses them to AI labs, non-exclusively, so you keep the code. Forks, client work and code written for an employer don't qualify. Price your private repos.
Can I take my page down?
Yes. Type the username on the removal page and the page, its share card and its badge are gone.
